Island Paradise

Mrs. Peeps and Ms. Blonde One ventured to the Banana Leaf Malaysian Restaurant in Vancouver tonight, where the food was so good they forgot to take a picture of it. Or perhaps it was the Penang Island Paradise? Dark rum, mango and pineapple juice, fresh lime juice topped with Blue Curacao, yep, I think one (or two!) of those could alter your judgment! The ladies gorged themselves on Indian Roti Canai, Malaysian style Vegetable Curry Puffs, Singapore style Sweet & Sour Pork Chop, Malaysian Mee Goreng (minus the shrimp!), and the piece de resistance, Pisang Goreng, crispy fried banana topped with vanilla ice cream! A very long walk was required after this meal - which was infinitely a better plan than calling another kamikaze cab driver like the one who drove them to the restaurant!
