I'm not a big fan of new year's resolutions.* I prefer to reflect back on the previous year and think of what I will remember about it in the future.
So what will I remember about 2006? There are many things -- most of which have previously been featured on the blog -- but in the interest of brevity, I will offer up two images that reflect some perfect moments of 2006:
What I will remember: Koko. Knitting. Yarn. More yarn. Stash. Cashmere. Knitters. Frolics. Drunken Knit Nights. Lettuce Knit. Knutty Knitters. Rhinebeck. Sheep. Goats. Scarves. Mittens. Alpacas. Toques. Maid Marion.
What I will remember: Sun. Espresso. Tony Bourdain. Total peace. Granville Island. Amber. Stalking. Wine. Knitting. Beer. Gelato. The ocean. Jarty. Stupid Bird. Port Alberni. Wacky forest. Hot tub.
*That being said, I do have one resolution for 2007: to finally be featured on Stuff On My Cat! All my submissions for 2006 were not accepted, so the heat is on for 2007! Perhaps a second resolution might be to lobby the Chinese to either add the cat to the Chinese calendar or replace one of the existing twelve with a cat. I mean, Year of the Cat is way more sexy than Year of the Boar, don't you think?
