This blog used to be all things Koko, by Koko, a Siamese cat from Toronto. Koko is no longer with us, but her blog lives on. Sort of.

Rhinebeck was...
Rhinebeck was beautiful. The weather gods smiled upon us.
Rhinebeck was beguiling. Or should I say "ba-guiling!" The sheep smiled upon us.
Rhinebeck was bountiful. The yarn fairies smiled upon us.
(Along with the Canada-US exchange rate sprites and generous Canada Customs officers who smiled upon us...but clearly not the photography deity who did not smile upon me often enough as evidenced by this truly terrible photo.)
Rhinebeck was...Really Freaking Awesome! (I think I may have mentioned this once or twice, but in more colourful and less polite terms...Good times, good times!)
It was a great weekend. From the Escoffier Restaurant at the incredibly beautiful Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park NY to the New York Sheep and Wool Festival in Rhinebeck NY to Target in Kingston NY to Dunkin Donuts on Bear Swamp Road in Peru NY (hello blueberry turbo-charged coffee, the world's greatest contribution to franchise coffee) to Stash Cafe in Montreal, Quebec, it was a totally awesome time. (PS. Thanks to KF for all the awesome driving from hither to yon and back again, and for keeping us in one piece -- especially in that treacherous roundabout!)
More details and pictures to come once I have had a chance to unpack and document the loot whilst avoiding the baleful eye of a certain husband who would definitely not be smiling upon me at that point (hopefully he's also gotten bored of this post by now and is no longer reading or I'll have some 'splaining to do)...If you simply cannot wait for the post (mom!), then whet your appetite here, here and here and likely soon here.

Are those all your purchases in that middle photo? Or is it a group shot of everyone's? Please tell me you didn't buy that much!
PS: Going to the book launch tomorrow.
