Decorating for the Holidays
Friday was a snow day! But instead of heading home, the "Kellective" went through Brookfield Place to avoid some of the snow on their way to dinner at Jump, where they warmed up with a lovely meal and a glass or two of Sauvignon Blanc from Prospect Winery in BC. Brookfield Place, formerly BCE Place, had some spectacular lights which reflected off the windows and showcased the wreath outside - very pretty!
Saturday we were inspired to do a little holiday decorating around the house. The Christmas ornaments came home after being at the office last year, so the tree is up and we set the table with this lovely hand-painted candle from Auntie Mar and a quilted runner made a few years ago by Shannon, Cecily's mom. It looked a little barren until I came on board, now I think it is perfect!
