Mrs. Peeps, researcher extraordinaire, tells me that the term "dog days" refers to the hot sultry period of summer between early July and early September in the northern hemisphere. It also means a period of stagnation and inactivity...This certainly begs the question: are dogs the only creatures who can lay claim to being uncomfortable, uninspired and unproductive in the summer?
I wonder what "cat days" would be; unfortunately, I have a very strange feeling that it may involve going to hell in a handbasket!

Koko, I do believe that the 'cat days' would involve perfect weather and millions of tiny pieces of string everywhere.
Like, string weather.
