Labour Day

White shoes be banished! Labour Day is here!

"Labour Day", also sometimes known as "May Day" or "International Workers Day" in other parts of the world, is a day that affirms the dignity and honour of working people everywhere. So in the tradition on non-work on Labour Day, I am resting on/in my new Goldilocks Shawl, which has finally been completed. Just in time, because the temperature has dropped and it is a wee bit chilly in the house!

What colour did you knit the shawl in? Koko, you look great in it!

Hi Kessie, officially just the white shoes are out. But I dunno; white fur? Unless you're a persian, maybe that too!

The shawl is a hand-dyed skein of Fleece Artist, no particular colour name. Beige, off-white, with hints of caramel and gray. It feels as comfy and warm as it looks! I'm liking it.

I hope you're making time and a half for the modelling gig Koko. Today is a stat and that's the law!
