The Waiting Game

Don't bother clicking on the image to see if it can be more clear; it can't. Sorry. The camera phone ain't so great...

Although a terrible picture, I wanted to post it to show you what my days have been like since May 23, 2006 when Mrs. Peeps got her new job and started working ridiculously long hours. That's me, waiting at the front door. Waiting and waiting and waiting...Ms. Firefly Knit kindly pointed out I have 8 more months of waiting. (Yeah...thanks for that cruel observation. When's your birthday again?)

BUT I am beginning to suspect there might be more to her absence than her work. I think knitters may occasionally be luring her to knit nights, as I was reading A Long Yarn and discovered her plans to attend the SnB at Lettuce Knit on Wednesday night...

Clearly I need to work on a plan to keep her at home. Apparently cuteness and devotion aren't working.

Oh Koko, it's not you. It's her!

Sorry Koko. At the risk of dragging her away once more, could Mrs. Peeps please pass on the info about the knitting meet she mentioned the other night.
And no, she didn't once pat Brad the LK cat or let him sit in her lap. I swear!

Unfortunately for me, fortunately for you, my trusty scribe, Mrs. Peeps has control of the keyboard...here's the info you are looking for, Yvette!
