"The glance is natural magic. The mysterious communication established across a house between two entire strangers, moves all the springs of wonder. The communication by the glance is in the greatest part not subject to the control of the will. It is the bodily symbol of identity with nature. We look into the eyes to know if this other form is another self, and the eyes will not lie, but make a faithful confession what inhabitant is there."
Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882),
U.S. essayist, poet, philosopher.
“Behavior,” The Conduct of Life (1860)

Emerson's one of my favs!
Ok, I admit to be slightly frightened...
Kind of Jack Nicholson isn't it. This was taken just before she ate my left earlobe.
Mr. Peeps
koko - I'm so glad that your fancy of feast was safe and that you will remain forever mysterious - like a sphinx.
Koko ok maybe you look dark in this photo but, it is like dark side of the Moon. Look at the cute eye :)

Mr. Peeps lies. I was at the vet when this was taken, trying to burrow into Mrs. Peeps coat. He wasn't even there! I may have nipped the vet, who's to say...but what happens at the vets stays at the vets! Besides, I have tasted Mr. Peeps lobe, once or twice, and it's not that tasty I tell you.
