Aunt Pat likes to tell a story about how when Mrs. Peeps was little, maybe a year and a half old, she really, really liked birthdays, so she would get a cupcake every week and they would put a candle in it and sing "Happy Birthday". Mrs. Peeps still likes birthdays. But mostly she really likes cake, and is especially fond of icing.
Luckily Ms. Blonde One shares this fondness for cake and icing, and in fact, has taken her liking to a whole new level: about a year ago she started making these spectacular, scrumptious cakes (which can be viewed in this Flickr set). I think the cake for Mrs. Peep's birthday tomorrow is the nicest of them all because it features yours truly.
Thanks, Amber!

Amber, the Koko Kake is a komplete success!
You may have to quit the international frolicking business and become a professional baker.
My of my......she Ms Blonde One surely must get her artistic flair from her mother!!!!! The question now is "how many cakes did the birthday girl get?"
Hope you had a wonderful birthday Kelly.....
YUM YUM!! I want me some cake.
Dear Ms. Blonde One's Mom: I got one cake made of two cakes. But I wanted to do an "artistic" picture of a quartet of cakes and I didn't think that 4 pics of my cake would be visually interesting...so I did a quartet of Amber's birthday cakes. I assume she inherited her extreme gifts from her beautiful, talented and intelligent mother. Might I suggest a friendly bake-off in July?
Love,
Kelly
Happy b'day Kelly...what a fantabulous cake.. a Miss Blonde One special....and the star on top is styling ....oh, and the cake in the bottom right corner is wonderful too!
FofBO (friend of...)
I can attest both to the cake's beauty and tastiness (but not to Koko's - Mrs. Peeps kept her all for herself!)
Ms. Blonde One, you are welcome to make cakes ANY time - wonderful!
