A Year in Review

Dear friends, readers and general lurkers,

I, Kelly, have hijacked Koko's blog. She is currently otherwise occupied (read "napping"), it being a beautiful, peaceful holiday Monday. Actually, quite like every Monday in Koko's world, come to think of it. Never mind that now; I digress. Life's fairness can be contemplated some other time.

Today I am reflecting (and taking a break from Season 3 of 24...boy that Jack Bauer sure can get into some trouble; in comparison a day at my work is a piece of cake!). Friday was my last day at work in a temporary role which I have been doing for the past year, and tomorrow I resume my usual duties. It has been a tremendous year and I am happysadgladmad to be finishing/returning. It has been a hard year, and it has had its challenges, but it has also been a fun year, filled with some wonderful people, crazy ideas, a few drinks, laughter and yarn. I know it will be a year I remember* fondly.

The list of things that made this year memorable would be excruciatingly long. Not boring, I assure you, just long. Here are some of the non-Koko highlights...since I could only use a maximum of 36 images in this mosaic, the rest are in my Flickr set called "Retrospective". (For the Koko highlights, you can read the blog!)

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of my life this past year and made it such a great year!

Cheers!
Kelly

*Thankfully I have this blog, my memory being what it is. I am over 30 after all!
