Chillin' with the Knittin'

I'd heard all about the Clapotis, but I wanted to see what all the fuss was about... The verdict: it's quite soft, sets off my colouring nicely and was perfect for nestling in today since it was quite chilly and someone who shall remain unnamed insisted on keeping all the windows open!

Speaking of keeping the chill away, I'm told it is now the season of the mitten. They're not really my thing, but they sure are pretty. These are the Handpainted Silk Mittens by Sweaterkits.

And finally, it was the first "socks on" day around the house since these socks were received. Made by Amber for Kelly's birthday (more or less...give or take a few weeks). Truly, they are Socks That Rock!
