Beggars can't be choosers

"Loneliness is comforted by the closeness and touch of fur to fur, skin to skin, or -- skin to fur."

Dear Koko, I am sorry I came home late. But I am glad you had some form of company - as you said, beggars can't be choosers, so this friend is better than none...As Dag Hammarskjold said: "Friendship needs no words -- it is a loneliness relieved of the anguish of loneliness." I promise to come home at a decent hour tomorrow night and be your friend.
