Happy Stashiversary

This is the Year of the Stash. The yarn stash. It was born on February 4, 2006. Although one might like to think in highly delusional moments that it has reached its healthy robust adult size, one fears that it is but a toddler with gargantuan growth spurts.

Nevertheless, individual balls in the stash do occasionally find their final yarny form. This particular ball of Misti Alpaca Hand Painted Chunky, also known as "Havasu", was a mere overnight guest in the stash, having quite quickly found its way onto the needles to be reborn as a Sunset Beret. Havasu is competing with Granite and Habanero to be reborn as this beautiful jacket.
